GPU hours
every number on this site came off a real card with real electricity behind it, and compute is the slow half of every receipt. fuel turns into scoring runs: the synthid-text watermark receipts and the batched runner are both waiting on exactly this.
corpora
wider material to calibrate against (more domains, more registers, more length regimes), so the advice this tool gives rests on more than one corpus family.
time on the queue
issues answered sooner, edges documented sooner, the roadmap simply moving faster. the order of the queue never changes; the pace does.

support without money
fuel is not only money. citing gaige where you used it, filing the issue when something breaks, and bringing use cases or improvement ideas to the Discussions page all move the queue, and a good bug report with its receipt attached moves it further than a coffee does.
what it never buys
- a different answer. results, thresholds, and refusals are not for sale at any amount: honesty here is enforced by tests, not promises.
- credibility. nothing that affects what a receipt says can be paid for.
- exclusivity. the license stays AGPL, and anything that surfaces an error, an interval, or a caveat stays free forever; that is the point of the tool, not a tier.
asked and answered
is this a subscription? no. ko-fi supports one-off and monthly, but nothing here unlocks or expires; monthly just means steadier fuel.
can fuel target a specific run? no. the queue’s order is fixed by the roadmap and by what the receipts need next; fuel moves the pace, never the order. that rule is what keeps support from buying results.
do you get a receipt for supporting? ko-fi handles the payment record. nothing about a supporter changes what any gaige receipt says, and names do not appear on receipts at any amount.
where does the money actually sit? in the project’s books, spent on compute, corpora, and infrastructure, in that order. if the spending pattern ever changes in kind, this page changes with it.
is a commissioned run support? no. a commission is work for one team on their own material, with its own written scope and definition of done; the services page says how that lane runs. support stays fuel for the public queue, and no amount of either buys a number on this site.
