plain terms: what you may rely on, and what you may not.

short sections that mean what they say. where a license does the real work it is named, and the license text wins for the code it covers.

scope

these terms cover gaige.dev (the pages, the receipts they render, and the data files behind them) and the documentation of the gaige Python package. using the site or the package means accepting them; there is nothing to sign and no account to hold, because there are no accounts.

the code

gaige is licensed AGPL-3.0-only. run it, study it, modify it, redistribute it under the same license; if you serve a modified version to others over a network, the AGPL’s source-offer obligation applies to you. that copyleft is load-bearing: it keeps every derived instrument as inspectable as this one.

for uses the AGPL does not fit, commercial licensing exists: ghxrk13@proton.me. the package page states the current version and what it depends on.

the pages

the text and figures on gaige.dev are © the operators of gaige.dev. quote freely with attribution and a link; do not republish whole pages or pass this site’s content off as your own. the machine-readable receipts under /data are published to be consumed: the numbers are facts, the JSON shape is stable by intent, and the reproduce commands inside them are yours to run.

measurements, never verdicts

no warranty

the site and the package are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind: no promise of fitness for a particular purpose, no promise that a receipt transfers to your material, no promise of uptime. for the code this is AGPL sections 15 and 16 said plainly; for the pages it is the same sentence without the section numbers. decisions built on top of these numbers are yours, and the tool’s refusals exist to keep that honest.

not legal advice

the regulatory reading on this site (the marking-dates table today) is source-linked homework, not legal advice. dates are re-verified on the cadence each page states, and each page says when it was last checked.
